About the role

The EyeDoctors Optometrists is seeking a full-time Optometrist to practice full-scope at their Lawrence office. Founded in 1969 in Manhattan, the practice has grown to offer over 20 locations throughout Kansas, focusing on personalized vision care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye care services including vision exams, prescription eyewear, contact lenses, and ocular health treatments.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Participate in continuing education programs to stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry.
• Manage a caseload of patients, ensuring timely and accurate appointments.
• Contribute to the medical leadership team and participate in decision-making processes related to medical issues.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an AOA accredited program.
• Current Kansas State License.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passing score on the state board exam.

Qualifications
