Comprehensive Ophthalmologist - Monterey, CA
Vantage Eye Center has experienced steady practice growth over the last 30 years and offers an opportunity for a BC/BE comprehensive ophthalmologist to join our elite multispecialty practice. Cases may include cataracts (with premium IOLs), MIGS, retina injections, and more.
About the Role
The team includes 12 surgeons, 6 optometrists, and dedicated technicians, scribes, and front office staff. We treat a wide variety of eye diseases, including corneal disorders, diabetic eye diseases, cataracts, retina, oculoplastics, refractive, and glaucoma. The practice handles over 50,000 patient visits and over 5,000 major surgical procedures annually, with a light call schedule of approximately 6 weeks per year.

Vantage Eye Center continues a long tradition of excellence in eye care on the central California Coast. We are a full-service practice with our own on-site ophthalmology-specific 2-room ASC and optical shops open Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. With locations in Monterey and Salinas, we are the region’s premier center for comprehensive eye care, offering university-level care close to home.
