About the role

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking a candidate to prepare simple formulations, clean kettles and equipment, and document batching progress and cleaning/sanitization procedures. This position requires adherence to company safety, GMP, and GDP practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare simple formulations including extracts, solutions, and liposomes, and add additional ingredients to complete the batching process.
• Clean kettles and equipment such as pumps and mixers.
• Document batching progress and cleaning/sanitization procedures.
• Work as part of a team to achieve common departmental goals, including improving scrap and batch cycle times.

Qualifications

• Maintain good attendance.
• Follow GMP and GDP requirements.
• Follow instructions and pay attention to details.
• Be handy (able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate power/hydraulic industrial equipment).
• Have a good overall understanding of measurement units and basic math.
• Have good communication skills and ability to read/write in English.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Familiarity in a controlled manufacturing environment and knowledge of Aseptic Technique is a plus.

Pay

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $22.75 to $32.00. Exact hourly rate depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Hourly range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to hourly rate, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
