Key Responsibilities
- Maintain schedule efficiency to meet production goals
- Follow production schedule and work with warehouse to get orders pulled and staged
- Verify components
- Communicate objectives to the Compounders and report results to production management team
- Accurately Weigh/sample materials using the metric system
- Handle raw materials and understand safety procedures associated with handling raw materials
- Stir chemicals per written instructions
- Operate large scales, small balances, mixers, forklifts and other electric pallet movers and drum lifts
- Make suggestions for solutions to support daily results, improvement in safety, quality, cost, and reliability
- Ability to comprehend on-the-job training
- Perform room releases for GMP compliance
- Attend Daily Operational Reviews
- Understand and follow SOPs and GMP guidelines
- Work effectively with a diverse “customer” group (production, operators, managers, warehousing, maintenance, quality, etc.) to understand and meet/exceed their expectations and achieve desired business results
- Perform duties at a satisfactory pace
- Demonstrate willingness to work reasonable overtime as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of working in a Bulk Manufacturing, FDA, GMP or DEA environment (preferred: 3-5 years)
Qualifications
- Satisfactory knowledge in Basic Arithmetic
- Must be able to use a calculator
- Basic knowledge of GCM, QA and TAR indices
- Basic mechanical knowledge of mixing and weighing equipment
- Read and comprehend bulk-manufacturing documents pertaining to the manufacture of bulk batches
- Write and Speak English fluently
- Satisfactory attendance, safety record and work performance
- Meet the minimal requirements to obtain a valid forklift license
