Components Helper - FASS HQ

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking Helpers to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina. This position is available on first shift.

Responsibilities

• Handle loose parts and tools
• Paint and clean fabricated air handling units
• Organize lunches and plan events
• Speak to employees on the production floor
• Assist other trades employees in your department as directed (e.g. Welders, Pipefitters, Electricians, etc.)
• Use power tools (e.g. circular saw, drill, reciprocating saw, etc.)
• Work safely and adhere to all safety rules and policies
• Work in a fast-paced team environment

Requirements

• Reading and speaking proficiency in both English and Spanish required
• Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in using iPads and computers
• Ability to read a tape measure required
• Ability to read blueprints preferred
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and climb ladders throughout the shift
• Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels

6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary
