About the role
As a Compliance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the USFHP Compliance and Privacy Program — working at the intersection of healthcare operations, regulatory integrity, and patient advocacy. You will partner with operational and clinical teams to identify compliance risks, interpret regulatory requirements, monitor performance, investigate concerns, and drive meaningful corrective actions — all while ensuring our organization meets the highest standards of accountability and patient privacy.
Responsibilities
- Identify compliance risks within healthcare operations
- Interpret and apply regulatory requirements
- Monitor performance to ensure adherence to standards
- Investigate compliance concerns and recommend corrective actions
- Support the USFHP Compliance and Privacy Program initiatives
Requirements
- 2 years of Compliance or privacy experience in a healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Business, or a health-related field
- Upon hire: Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)
- 3 years of experience in Information Security, Health Information Management, Accreditation Services, or Revenue Cycle Services in lieu of direct Compliance/Privacy experience

Pay
The base pay range for this position is $39.45 - $61.24 per hour. Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
