Compliance Specialist Privacy
About the role
Conducts and supports the investigation and resolution of privacy incidents reported through the Values Line, ministries, and from other methods, in collaboration with other Compliance leaders, team members, and legal, as appropriate.
Aids in coordinating and following up on audits and investigations conducted as part of the compliance privacy monitoring program.
Assists in the development and implementation of HIPAA and other Federal or State privacy policies and procedures, including consent forms and notices.
Supports the creation and delivery of system-wide and targeted compliance training and education programs and initiatives related to privacy matters.
Identifies opportunities and supports efforts to build a culture of compliance.
Serves as a resource for projects and programs within the HIPAA Privacy vertical, including data review and analysis, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5 years in healthcare privacy compliance experience
