Essential Job Functions
- Complete employment background checks adhering to City, State and Federal contract and licensing requirements
- Serve as the main point of contact during the background check process to candidates providing high levels of customer support and follow up with candidates and external agencies
- Update individual candidate tracker systems and report out to candidates and management as needed
- Maintain organized electronic and hard-copy filing systems
- Meet with new or returning employees to collect and review compliance paperwork ensuring complete and accurate submissions during assigned office hours and as needed
- Conduct periodic site compliance file audits as assigned
Education Requirement
Must have a HS Diploma or Equivalent. Some college credits preferred.
Experience Requirements
At least one (1) year of experience in Human Resources, Administrative, or related field.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to exhibit a high degree of confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and managing multiple projects
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficient with Google applications and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Work is performed mostly within an office setting and is required to interact face-to-face with potential employees. May be required to walk up and down stairs, lift or move objects/materials as needed. Work hours will be consistent Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
