Compliance Specialist

Location: Los Angeles, Hybrid (3 days in office)

Salary: $55,000 a year

Hours: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm (40 hours per week)

As a Compliance Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring every educator on our platform is fully vetted, qualified, and prepared to make a positive impact. Responsibilities

• Review and approve educator profiles to confirm all documentation is accurate, including background checks, references, immunizations, and training certifications.
• Assist with background checks and regular compliance audits to maintain high standards of safety.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement policies that protect students and schools.
• Help build a culture of compliance across the organization, ensuring everyone understands the importance of our mission.

Requirements

• Meticulous and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Comfortable with technology and proficient in tools like Google Suite.
• Excellent communicator, both in writing and conversation.
• Confident in handling sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
• Passionate about child safety in education.

Prior experience in a compliance or administrative role is an asset but not required.
