About the role
This position is responsible for being available and proactive in addressing driver concerns and needs related to safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Review and respond to driver applications and inquiries
- Verify drivers' previous employment for compliance
- Report on terminated drivers via DAC
- Provide employment verification for previous drivers
- Ensure independent contractor (IC) insurance compliance
- Maintain and audit IC insurance websites
- Handle 1166 paperwork for ICs (workers' compensation and occupational accident insurance)
- Ensure rider/passenger insurance policy compliance
- Maintain and audit participant documentation
- File and maintain current and new drivers' DQ (Driver Qualification) files
- Provide miscellaneous insurance assistance as needed
- Assist with HazMat, GeoTab, and permit-related tasks as needed
- Complete other projects as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Skills
Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- DOT Hours of Service (logging)
- Transportation permitting
