Compliance Specialist

About the role

Conducts exterior inspections of private properties to ensure compliance with city codes and verifies that contractor work meets specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manages service requests related to overgrowth violations
• Researches property owner information
• Distributes tasks to contractors via computer systems
• Maintains and updates records in Oracle and Xora systems, including photographs and citizen meeting notes
• Monitors vendor progress and investigates citizen complaints
• Reviews contractor invoices and documentation to resolve billing disputes
• Provides training on system applications
• Interacts with citizens for resolution of property issues
• Travels to various sites for inspections and meetings
• Prepares reports and correspondence
• Communicates effectively with management and staff, offering clerical support as needed
