We provide evidence-based, holistic care to individuals battling substance use disorders. With a heart for transforming lives, we serve individuals and families across the Commonwealth through a full continuum of care, from residential treatment to outpatient services and recovery support. We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to join our Compliance Department. Reporting to the Compliance Director, this position is pivotal in maintaining organizational integrity through regulatory adherence, audits, investigations and policy and procedure. This is an entry-level position and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to jumpstart start their career in Compliance. Responbilities Include But Are Not Limited To Policy & Governance: Draft, update, and implement organizational policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and the Code of ConductAuditing & Monitoring: Assist with internal compliance audits, risk assessments, and monitoring activities to identify operational gapsRegulatory Tracking: Monitor changes in relevant federal, state, and local laws/accreditation standards and assess their operational impactTraining & Education: Assist in building and delivering compliance training materials and modules for staff and managementReporting & Investigations: Track compliance metrics, investigate potential policy violations or hotline reports, and draft investigation reportsExternal Audits & Filings: Assist with external regulatory surveys and third-party auditsOther tasks required for compliance activities as determined by Compliance leadership Requirements Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, Healthcare Administration, or a related field 2-5 years of direct experience in healthcare in a corporate/administrative role preferredWillingness to obtain and maintain proficiency in Isaiah House policy, procedures, and programsExcellence in key soft skills: attention to detail, analytical thinking, communication, professionalism, organization Physical Requirements Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodationProlonged periods of sitting and working on a computerFrequent use of standard office equipment (e.g., keyboard, phone)Ability to communicate effectively with staff and company partnersOccasionally required to stand, walk, bend, or reachMay be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Employees Receive Benefits That Include Medical, dental, and vision insuranceBasic life insurance401(k) OptionPTO after 90 Days & Holiday Pay Additional Information Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 4:30pm or other regular office hours as determined by supervisorWork Environment: On-siteTravel Requirements: Some travel may be needed between Isaiah House facilities Isaiah House is a faith-based and Christ-centered nonprofit organization.
