About the Role
The Compliance Team is looking for a Compliance Specialist to support the compliance department in reviewing legal documents, conducting and responding to internal/external audits, and investigating Fraud, Waste & Abuse claims. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities that will aid the department in maintaining regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and respond to internal and external audits for all jurisdictions
- Complete daily reports while meeting metric requirements
- Provide assistance with I-9 approvals
- Assist with conflict reporting and collaborate with our finance department
- Review legal documents
- Investigate fraud, waste, and abuse claims
- Serve as a resource for escalated concerns
- Perform quality assurance reviews
Requirements
- Must be organized and have excellent attention to detail
- Adept at multi-tasking
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer and phone knowledge
- Experience with data input and case review
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar position preferred
- Healthcare industry experience a plus
- Prior experience with internal and external audits (nice-to-have)

Pay
The base pay range for this role is between $23.00 and $25.00 an hour at the commencement of your first year of employment. Compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as skill set, years of relevant experience, education, location, and licensure/certifications.
