Responsibilities

  • Maintain working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations affecting our consumer loan servicing business.
  • Maintain working knowledge of our policies, procedures, and processes, including applicable servicing platforms.
  • Research and draft responses to regulatory complaints received from issuing banks and federal/state regulators.
  • Identify issues in complaints that present compliance risk, poor customer experience, and opportunities for procedure, process, and training enhancements.
  • Contribute to identifying patterns and trends related to compliance risk, customer experience, and process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate and complete complaint record documentation.
  • Meet strict regulatory SLA requirements for all complaints.
  • Support and assist with other compliance-related projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned (with or without reasonable accommodation).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of professional work in financial services, preferably in banking compliance with experience in regulatory complaints resolution.
  • At least three years of experience in fraud, customer service, collections, or back-office roles within financial services.
  • Knowledge of consumer compliance regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently and productively, both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and decision-making in time-sensitive environments.
