About the Role
Cintas is seeking a Compliance Specialist to oversee all efforts surrounding location (or region) compliance related to Safety and/or Fleet. The Compliance Specialist ensures audit compliance for areas of expertise, audits and monitors data, systems, and processes for compliance with policies and laws, and educates partners on compliance items, including current and revised SOPs, policies, and procedures. This role stays informed on regulatory changes and communicates updates to supported locations. Additionally, the Compliance Specialist is responsible for due diligence of Third-Party Risk Management providers.
Responsibilities
- Makes immediate decisions for corrections regarding OSHA, DOT, Local, and/or State ordinances.
- Negotiates pricing for preventative maintenance, repairs, and towing.
- Establishes annual fleet spend and manages monthly spend to ensure the location stays within budget.
- Prepares and/or maintains moderately complex documents related to safety, fleet, reliability, quality, and other business compliance documentation.
- Gathers and summarizes data for reports and members of management.
- Strategizes and implements plans for improvement with the help of other partners.
- Ensures Cintas meets all internal and external requests in a thorough and timely manner by maintaining organized and compliant documentation.
- Supports others by carrying out safety, health, and environmental tasks using established procedures and implementing new procedures.
- Manages workers compensation and auto accident investigations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of business experience.
