Compliance Specialist
This department is responsible for the E-Verify, I-9 process, and other HR employment processes. The contractor will work with full-time employees to action I-9 cases in the HR Information System, including matching employee files with government records and documenting case information.
Responsibilities
- Email or call internal managers to obtain additional documents or information.
- Navigate the system to ensure appropriate documents are in place for employees to be eligible to work (e.g., ensuring identification matches, legal residency).
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience navigating various computer systems and performing data entry.
- Ability to analyze information and act diligently.
- Must be able to type 60 WPM.
- Prior experience in an HR role preferred.
- I-9 experience or legal knowledge is a plus.
- Must be a self-starter who can maintain a consistent work schedule.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Workday system experience is a plus.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
