Associate, Product Management with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah.
About the role
Work with project sponsors and key stakeholders to establish a clear product strategy and road map in line with overall product vision and broader Compliance Engineering objectives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, including current state assessments, job shadowing, and requirements gathering.
- Rationalize user requirements across a broad cross-section of business functions and translate those requirements to “user stories” for delivery by the development teams.
- Manage sprint execution and product launches.
- Communicate with key stakeholders on progress of the product.
- Coordinate the flow and prioritization of requests from all stakeholders and product backlog.
- Sign off on all functional delivery prior to production release.
- Understand and manage impact across integrated applications.
- Maintain connectivity with the user community, monitor usage of the product post-launch, and validate product performance.
Requirements
Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems/Technology, or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related role.
OR
Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems/Technology, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related role.
Prior experience must include:
- Performing product management activities across the full product lifecycle, including initial analysis and requirements gathering with users, functional design, development coordination, QA (quality assurance) testing, and production release.
- Driving product vision, design, and launch strategy as part of product management functions.
- Coordinating activities across functions to support product delivery, including applying knowledge of product management, engineering, user experience, and user research in the development and enhancement of technology products.
- Preparing and presenting written and verbal communications, including documentation and stakeholder updates related to product requirements and development activities.
