Compliance Pharmacy Technician, Front End Full Time

Day In The Life
- Maintain workflow in the department
- Monitor productivity and performance
- Ensure compliance with all Omnicare, State and Federal guidelines
- Work alongside the pharmacist to ensure accuracy
- Provide best in customer service
- Calculate and/or verify correct dosage based on prescriptions
- Avoid narcotic Rx’s being back late
- Provide information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other flagged items to the dispensing pharmacist
- Create and maintain accurate customer records
- Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required

Required Qualifications
- Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
- One (1) year or more of pharmacy technician experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the long-term care industry
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- PTCB National Certification
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical or customer service setting
Education
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
Anticipated Weekly Hours
The typical weekly hours for this role is 40
Time Type
This is a full-time position
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $28.46
Additional Details
The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
