Responsibilities
- Lead assessments of the organization's cybersecurity posture and develop a roadmap for improvement.
- Establish and maintain program governance, including creating charters and tracking progress.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures to close identified gaps.
- Manage risk by maintaining a cybersecurity risk register and facilitating risk assessment workshops.
- Engage with stakeholders to build trusted relationships and drive compliance outcomes.
- Ensure smooth transition and knowledge transfer at the end of the engagement.
Skills
- Extensive experience in cybersecurity, GRC, or related fields.
- Proven ability to lead NIST CSF assessments and maturity improvement programs.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering on schedule.
- Experience in mentoring junior team members and ensuring quality deliverables.
- Excellent written communication skills for clear and concise documentation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in regulated industries with high compliance standards.
- Familiarity with the latest NIST CSF updates and GRC platforms.
- Relevant certifications such as CISM, CRISC, or CISSP.
Benefits
The pay range for this role is $86.15 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
