Compliance/Loan Review Intern - Summer 2027

Anders’ Bank Compliance and Loan Review Department is seeking a motivated intern eager to learn, collaborate, and deliver outstanding results. This 8-week, in-person internship runs from June to late July 2027 in our St. Louis and Chesterfield, Missouri offices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in reviews of client records to ensure compliance with federal consumer protection and anti-money laundering regulations.
• Participate in reviews of client records to determine whether the client has appropriately identified risk within its loan portfolio.
• Examine records to ensure proper recording and authorization of transactions, compliance with policies, and applicable laws.
• Prepare detailed reports of findings and recommendations for client companies.
• Prepare portions of compliance, internal audit, or loan review engagements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an accounting, finance, or related curriculum at the junior level or higher (graduating May 2028 or earlier).
• Experience working in a bank or credit union is a plus.
• Minimum 25+ hour work week required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without requiring sponsorship.
