Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Reviews transactional data created by the Company’s dealerships for adherence to applicable laws, regulations and Company policies and documents deficiencies within the system.
- Communicates deficiencies to department leadership and assists in tracking remedial effort.
- Affords assistance in conducting trend analysis of company data to recognize abnormalities and escalates findings to supervisor.
- Affords assistance in executing risk assessments and tracking mitigation of recognized risks.
- Maintains oversight of Company processes and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations and reports any identified risks to department leadership.
- Affords assistance in tracking and escalating remediations for deficiencies recognized during monitoring of Company processes and procedures.
- Conducts reviews and updates of department and Company policies related to Compliance and Internal Audit functions;
- Conducts research to ensure the Company’s policies and processes are up to date and compliant with federal and state laws and regulations and relays any changes to department leadership.
- Affords assistance in the development, maintenance and delivery of scheduled and ad-hoc reporting of related to department initiatives.
- Affords assistance in the development, maintenance and delivery of department training and informational materials.
- Conducts confidential Compliance investigations as directed by department leadership.
- Affords assistance in conducting changes and regular updates of department compliance software as directed by department leadership with vendor partner.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or a related field. Experience with regulatory compliance, internal audit, and risk management is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
