Key Responsibilities
- Provide regulatory oversight and compliance guidance for assigned business lines and activities
- Collaborate with business partners to address compliance risks and implement effective controls
- Interpret and apply regulatory requirements to business initiatives, products, and services
- Prepare and present compliance position memos, guidance, and related materials
- Support the development and enhancement of compliance policies and procedures
- Advise on emerging regulatory topics, including digital assets, tokenization, blockchain technology, and AI-related risks
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess potential impacts on business activities and compliance programs
- Support regulatory examinations, inquiries, and remediation activities as needed
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a senior compliance, legal, risk, or regulatory role within financial services
- Direct experience with digital assets, tokenization, blockchain technology, cryptocurrency products, digital asset platforms, or related investments
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks impacting digital assets and emerging financial technologies
- Experience assessing regulatory risk and advising business stakeholders on new products, services, or strategic initiatives
- Asset management, fintech, capital markets, or investment adviser experience preferred
- Familiarity with AI tools and understanding of their compliance and regulatory implications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions
Pay
Compensation Range: Between $250,000.00 - $300,000.00
