Compliance Associate

A leading global investment firm with nearly $300 billion in assets under management is seeking an Associate to join its Real Estate Legal & Compliance team. This role offers the opportunity to work with experienced corporate attorneys and gain insight into in-house legal and compliance operations within the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in the day-to-day administration of the Real Estate group’s compliance program
• Monitor business activities for adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices
• Manage elements of the portfolio company compliance program, including policy development and investor disclosure support
• Project manage external service providers for annual compliance reports
• Support the development and refinement of compliance and governance policies
• Maintain a centralized repository of real estate compliance policies and procedures
• Enhance compliance workflows, reporting, and controls
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support regulatory filings and submissions
• Partner with technology stakeholders to develop automated dashboards and reporting tools
• Participate in the development and delivery of compliance training and awareness initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a highly regarded university
• 3+ years of corporate experience
• Prior work experience in legal, financial, and/or real estate fields preferred
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Pay

$40 – $60/hr
