Compliance and Permitting Specialist

About the role

The Compliance and Permitting Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all Renewal by Andersen HarborView operations adhere to relevant local, state, and federal regulations. This role involves obtaining necessary permits, maintaining compliance records, and coordinating with internal teams and regulatory agencies to support seamless project execution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and has a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and permitting processes, with particular emphasis on South Carolina county permit processes. The position primarily involves sitting for extended periods, computer use, attention to detail, communication, document handling, repetitive tasks, team collaboration, technology use, and occasional lifting/moving. Work is conducted in an office setting using computers, phones, and other office equipment, with extensive desk work, collaboration with sales, customer service, and logistics teams, regular computer use for order processing, tracking, and communication, a fast‑paced environment during peak periods, problem‑solving related to order discrepancies, team support, and deadline management.
