About the Role

The Compliance Administrator is a central support function within Safran Landing Systems Kentucky, reporting to the Global Trade Manager and Compliance Officer. This role ensures company processes, internal controls, license management, and reporting meet international laws, regulations, and corporate policies. You will coordinate with staff involved in transaction processing and due diligence, resolve issues through short-term planning and troubleshooting, and assist with training and procedure development.

The position supports Export Control and Customs activities, including license management, product classification, and compliance for international shipments. You will drive completion of audits and assessments, participate in long-term logistics harmonization projects, and promote continuous improvement. The role serves as a central resource for export and customs compliance, ethics and anticorruption initiatives, risk management, and supply chain operations support.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure company processes, internal controls, and reporting comply with international laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Coordinate with staff involved in transaction processing and due diligence.
  • Resolve compliance issues through short-term planning and troubleshooting.
  • Assist with training and procedure development.
  • Support Export Control and Customs activities, including license management and product classification.
  • Ensure compliance for international shipments and manage export licenses and regulatory filings.
  • Drive completion of audits and assessments.
  • Participate in long-term logistics harmonization projects.
  • Promote continuous improvement in compliance and operational processes.
  • Serve as a resource for export and customs compliance, ethics, anticorruption, risk management, and supply chain operations.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of export control regulations (e.g., ITAR, EAR) and customs procedures.
  • Experience in export license management and regulatory filings.
  • Working knowledge of international shipping processes, import/export documentation, and Incoterms.
  • Familiarity with compliance risk management and internal control frameworks.
  • Understanding of ethics and anticorruption compliance in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to interpret, apply, and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Skills

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping and documentation.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve compliance issues in a timely manner.
  • Capable of conducting due diligence, audits, and compliance assessments.
  • Proficiency with SharePoint, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and ERP systems (SAP).
