Competitive Intelligence Analyst

About the role

This hybrid role can be based in the Kansas City, St. Louis, Atlanta, Houston, or Tampa office. The Competitive Intelligence Analyst supports research and analysis for competitive intelligence projects related to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, RFx, pitches, meetings, presentations, and other business development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis to support competitive intelligence projects.
• Maintain a repository of firm experience and assist in building firm datasets.
• Interact with attorneys, Business Development team, and Marketing department professionals.
• Provide responsive intelligence for business development related to clients, prospects, market trends, and industries.
• Develop reports, profiles, and overviews of companies, industries, and individuals.
• Analyze datasets, research outputs, and translate findings into clear, concise deliverables.
• Track and maintain repositories of firm legal experience.
• Create and update compelling experience summaries and data points for RFPs, pitches, and marketing materials.
• Keep firm statistics current.
• Provide content for utilization by artificial intelligence.
• Develop best practices for AI usage, documenting effective prompts, workflows, and research approaches.
• Use approved AI-assisted research tools and generative AI applications, validating output for quality, accuracy, confidentiality, and relevance.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, Partners, Business Development Specialists, Practice Managers, and graphics team as needed.
• Provide exceptional internal client service by quickly responding to requests and handling shifting priorities from Business Development, lawyers, and leadership.
