Compensation Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead compensation operations, union wage implementation, analytics, and process improvement across UCLA Health
• Lead a team of compensation professionals
• Serve as a strategic partner to HR leadership, Labor Relations, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and organizational leaders
• Use data, insight, and innovation to create scalable processes, strengthen compensation practices, and help leaders make informed workforce decisions
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, collective bargaining agreements, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of progressively responsible Compensation experience
• At least 3 years in a leadership/supervisory role
• Experience supporting a represented workforce and interpreting collective bargaining agreements strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation methodologies, salary administration and market pricing
• Experience managing complex compensation projects and cross-functional initiatives
• Advanced analytical skills with experience using Excel, compensation databases, HRIS systems and reporting tools

Pay

Salary offers are determined based on various factors including qualifications, experience, and equity. The full salary range for this position is $108,900 to $241,500. The budgeted salary that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is approximately $190,000 to $235,000 annually.
