About the role
The Compensation Compliance Director will oversee the accuracy and fairness of compensation practices across the organization. This includes ensuring compliance with legal requirements, conducting regular reviews of compensation structures, and providing guidance on best practices.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the accuracy and fairness of compensation practices across the organization
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to compensation
- Conduct regular reviews of compensation structures
- Provide guidance on best practices for compensation management
- Work closely with HR teams to implement and maintain fair and compliant compensation policies
- Monitor trends in compensation practices and advise on strategic changes
- Prepare and present reports on compensation practices and compliance status
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in compensation management or a related field
- Experience with regulatory compliance in compensation practices
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations
- Experience with compensation software and databases
- Understanding of market compensation data and industry trends
- Experience with performance management systems
Skills
- Strong knowledge of compensation principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to analyze complex data and draw meaningful conclusions
