About the role

The Compensation Analyst at Regions supports the implementation and administration of compensation programs, focusing on wage and salary administration. This role involves creating and maintaining job families, handling administrative tasks, performing job audits, and analyzing pay structures.

Responsibilities

  • Administers Regions wage and salary administration programs
  • Creates and maintains job families, job summary descriptions, and data maintained at the job level
  • Handles all administrative tasks relating to job creation, set up, and recordkeeping
  • Performs job audits and researches pay practices and trends
  • Completes job evaluations to determine appropriate job classification in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
  • Provides analysis of pay structure, market-based grades, and geographic differentials
  • Recommends and implements associate pay structures under the guidance of manager or senior consultant
  • Performs job evaluations and assigns appropriate pay structure
  • Analyzes information to develop a conceptual understanding of job descriptions, management levels, and organizational structure
  • Participates in salary surveys

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Two (2) years of Compensation, Human Resources, or professional level banking experience

Preferences

  • Preferred two (2) years of Compensation, Human Resources, or professional level banking experience

  • Must be able to work under pressure with strict deadlines
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Strong Excel skills (i.e., formula’s, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
