About the role
Noble is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join their team based in Houston. The role offers a hybrid work schedule in their new state-of-the-art offices.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate market data and compensation trends and make recommendations for new hire salaries, promotional increases, market adjustments and grade assignments.
- Participate in compensation surveys and analyze resulting data to determine the Company's overall competitive position as well as the competitive position for individual jobs.
- Work with managers on the maintenance and development of job descriptions; directly responsible for managing a catalog of approved descriptions.
- Develop and manage planning materials for the merit, bonus, equity and budget processes and participate in annual reviews.
- Affiliate with the administration of the Company’s long term incentive plans, including share-based plans.
- Prepare reports and provide analytical support for ongoing activities, plans and programs, and special projects and initiatives.
- Run routine checks and audits to ensure the accuracy of compensation information housed in Workday.
- Stay current on the energy and drilling services marketplace, compensation best practices, and relevant compensation, benefits and payroll laws and regulations.
- Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Required: 3-5 years of work experience in the compensation function; expatriate compensation, international compensation and/or stock plan administration experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of compensation concepts, laws, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced level of proficiency in Excel, experience with Workday and/or PayScale a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business, human resources, finance or accounting).
- Flexibility, creativity, sensitivity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with managers and HR staff.
- Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

- Experience within Oil & Gas.
- Preferred: Working within a global organization.
