Compassionate Caregiver – Flexible Schedule Available

About the Role

As a caregiver with Amada Senior Care, you'll provide thoughtful, compassionate, in-home support that helps elderly clients enjoy greater comfort, dignity, safety, and independence. Caregiving is about creating meaningful moments, building trusting relationships, and helping clients feel respected and cared for in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Providing in-home companionship to elderly clients
• Assisting with personal hygiene, including showering, bathing, toileting, and dressing
• Reminding clients to take prescribed medication
• Helping with mobility around the house or outside, including doctor’s appointments and walks
• Planning and preparing meals
• Completing the client’s shopping or accompanying them to do so
• Performing basic housekeeping duties
• Reporting any unusual incidents and acting quickly in emergencies
• Offering activities essential for daily living

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance, and reliable transportation every day
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (preferred)
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Supportive, compassionate, and dependable
• Minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience
