About the Role
Residential Hospice is seeking volunteers to provide companionship to patients at home or in long-term care facilities. Volunteers play a vital role in supporting patients and their families by offering emotional and social connection.
Responsibilities
- Visit patients to provide companionship through conversation, reading, or writing letters
- Listen to and document a patient’s personal story
- Offer respite to caregivers, allowing them brief breaks
