About the Role
Residential Hospice is seeking compassionate volunteers to provide companionship to patients in their homes or long-term care facilities. Volunteers play a vital role in supporting patients and their families by offering emotional and social connection during a meaningful time.
Responsibilities
- Visit patients at home or in long-term care facilities to provide companionship
- Engage in activities such as reading, conversation, or writing letters
- Assist in capturing a patient’s personal story
- Provide respite for caregivers, allowing them brief breaks
