About the role
Residential Hospice is seeking volunteers to visit patients at home or in a long-term care facility. Companionship may include reading and talking to a patient, writing letters, reading a patient’s personal story, or giving respite to caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Visit patients at home or in a long-term care facility
- Provide companionship through activities such as reading, talking, writing letters, sharing personal stories, or offering respite to caregivers
Requirements
No prior experience is necessary. Volunteers must be 18 years or older and willing to commit to regular visits.
Qualifications
Volunteers should have a compassionate nature, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Pay
