Companionship Volunteer Needed

About the role

Residential Hospice is seeking volunteers to provide companionship to patients at home or in long-term care facilities. Duties may include reading, talking, writing letters, sharing personal stories, or offering respite to caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients at home or in long-term care facilities
• Engage in activities such as reading, talking, writing letters, sharing personal stories, or providing respite to caregivers

Requirements

• Driver’s License
• Background Check
• Attend Orientation

Qualifications

• Age 18+

• Patience
• Comfortable with elderly individuals
