About the role

Personal Care Assistant responsible for supporting clients with personal, physical mobility, and therapeutic care needs.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily activities, personal hygiene, and health care tasks
• Supporting transfers and ambulation
• Performing household services integral to the care plan
• Providing companionship through conversation and engagement
• Helping clients develop independence in self-care routines
• Reporting changes in client status as per care plan
• Performing additional duties as needed

Qualifications and Skills

• State licensure or certification as required
• Preferred: one year of relevant experience
• Current BLS certification and PPD or Chest X-Ray
• Knowledge of child development
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English
• Computer literacy
• Minimum age of 18 years
