Responsibilities

Every day is different, but every day matters. As a Companion, you'll provide compassionate, non-medical support that helps individuals live independently and enjoy fuller lives.

  • Assisting with meal preparation and light household tasks.
  • Supporting personal care and daily living activities.
  • Encouraging community participation and social engagement.
  • Helping individuals build confidence and independence.
  • Assisting with budgeting and financial management.
  • Maintaining documentation and following individualized care plans.
  • Most importantly, you'll become someone your client can count on.

Training Provided

No healthcare experience? No problem. We believe great Companions come from all backgrounds. We'll provide:

  • Paid orientation.
  • Paid training.
  • ABI Certification.
  • Person-Centered Training.
  • Ongoing coaching and support.
  • One-on-one guidance from experienced Program and Operations Managers.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable vehicle with insurance.
  • Clean driving record (3+ years).
  • Willingness to travel within your assigned service area.
  • Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude.
