About the role

Visiting Angels of Kirkland is hiring caregivers to serve clients in various areas including Kirkland, Redmond, Woodinville, Bothell, Kenmore, West Seattle, Des Moines, Normandy Park, Sammamish, and more. Join a network that is the nation's top provider of at-home care.

Responsibilities

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Aiding clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents
• Providing pleasant, supportive companionship
• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies
• Accompanying and supervising clients during shopping trips
• Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately
• Assisting with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time-management skills
• Reliable transportation to client homes
• Physical endurance for tasks like carrying groceries and supporting a client
• Ability to perform housekeeping and cooking duties
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards
• Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten clients' days

License

• HCA
• CNA
• Exemption Letter with Active NAR
• Driver's License if applicable

Shifts (7 Days a Week)

• Morning
• Mid-Day
• Evening
• Overnight
• Live-in’s
