Companion Caregiver

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Companion Caregiver to join our team at Always Best Care of Greater Bristol. As a Companion Caregiver, you will provide non-medical care and support to our clients in their homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in caregiving, excellent communication skills, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Assist with house maintenance, answer phone calls, and converse with patients to provide assurance
• Observe Universal Precautions and provide patient transportation to doctor appointments and outside activities
• Provide patient laundry and linen changes, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
• Prepare and clean up meals

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Non-Medical Caregiver
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must have cell phone/tablet
