Key Responsibilities
- Providing companionship and meaningful conversation
- Providing supportive supervision and companionship to individuals living with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia
- Assisting with meal preparation
- Playing games, listening to music, reading, and engaging in hobbies
- Providing reminders, encouragement, and emotional support
- Supporting individuals living with memory loss through meaningful engagement and routine
- Assisting with shopping, errands, and transportation (when applicable)
- Performing light housekeeping related to the client's care and comfort
Preferred Qualifications
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with older adults or individuals living with dementia
- Ability to work independently and build trusting relationships
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities
