Community Turn Assistant (Temporary)

What You’ll Do

• Prepare apartments for new residents during the turn season.
• Assist the leasing and maintenance teams to ensure a smooth transition.

Where You’ll Work

University Edge Youngstown offers off-campus student housing in Youngstown, Ohio. Located just steps from Youngstown State University and downtown Youngstown, the apartments are within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The YSU Morning Express shuttle stop is nearby, offering easy transportation to campus. Apartments feature fully furnished 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5-bedroom floor plans with private bathrooms in each bedroom, complimentary internet and cable services, an appliance package, a breakfast bar, and full-size washers and dryers.

What You’ll Own

• Support customer service efforts by providing exceptional assistance to residents.
• Aid in the unit turnover process, ensuring apartments are ready for new residents.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of both interior and exterior areas.
• Perform tasks such as picking up litter, watering plants, cleaning pools, sweeping, blowing, or pressure-washing areas.
• Assist the office team by greeting prospects, conducting tours, and assisting with lease execution and move-in paperwork.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

What You’ll Bring

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English, including reading and writing.
• Basic computer skills.
• The ability to frequently walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working with ladders.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to live within 30 miles of the property.
• Willingness to obtain necessary licenses and certifications.
