The Community Service-Learning Coordinator at Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO) is responsible for creating and managing student community service experiences linked to academic majors and career paths. This role ensures students gain meaningful, real-world learning opportunities and connects them with service opportunities that align with their professional and academic goals. Additionally, the coordinator manages the registration and tracking of student participation through Canvas, supporting students in developing skills that enhance their academic growth and future career prospects.

Responsibilities
- Create and manage community service-learning projects aligned with academic majors and career paths
- Collaborate with the Office of Career Services to connect students with relevant service opportunities
- Support students in developing skills through community service experiences
- Manage the registration and tracking of student participation using Canvas
- Ensure compliance with SUNO's community service-learning requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, education, public policy)
- Experience in community service or related field
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
