Community Resource Coordinator
About the role
The Community Resource Coordinator is responsible for building and managing a robust local partner network that can be mobilized to serve vulnerable children and their families, particularly those within the immigrant community. This position will play a central role in sourcing, managing, structuring, negotiating, and closing results-oriented key partnerships within their community ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate relationships across diverse communities and connect programs and staff to the resources children and their families need including housing, education, employment, financial capability, health/mental health, social capital, and permanence that are responsive to their cultures and identities.
- Assess and gain an understanding of local community dynamics and opportunities for resources by networking, building, and identifying new partners which may include churches, public and vocational schools, colleges, childcare providers, legal resource providers, and employers.
- Develop opportunities that can help recruitment efforts and build community resources for vulnerable children and their families.
- Develop a list of the ecosystem available in specific site area i.e. community partners, and providers in the region suitable for referring children and sponsors.
- Maintain appropriate documentation on partner development meetings.
- Participate in training and meetings as recommended.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and at least two (2) years of experience in community-based and/or faith-based organizations OR high school diploma and at least eight (8) years of experience in community-based organizations, especially in the faith-based ecosystem.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to successfully interact with potential partners and community stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
- A valid driver's license to travel for meetings.

Benefits
Remote work for eligible positions. Medical and Dental is paid 95% by company and 5% by employee (individual or family).
