Community Relations Representative

Position Overview

Lifesteps is seeking a full-time Public Relations Representative for their Butler, PA office. The role involves fundraising and community relations, supporting donor relationships, coordinating events, maintaining donor files, generating reports, creating donation acknowledgments, and engaging in media activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordinating special events and fundraisers, including planning, logistics, and outreach to donors
• Maintain donor files through a database
• Create and process donation acknowledgments and thank you letters
• Engage in media engagement
• Represent the agency at events
• Aid in volunteer engagement, expo/fair coordination, and agency photography/history

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of relevant experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including editing and proofreading
• Current and valid Driver’s License and automobile insurance
• Ability to travel using own vehicle - mileage reimbursement possible

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field
• Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field
