Community Relations Grant Management Specialist II
Employment Type: Non-Union, Exempt (salary, not eligible for overtime). On-site in-person reporting to Duluth, MN.
About the role
Under moderate supervision, the Grant Management Specialist II is responsible for the administration and compliance of the Company’s foundation, grant, and sponsorship programs, providing technical expertise in grant management, compliance, and process improvement. You will exercise skills in grant management and sponsorship administration, identifying and resolving problems of varying complexity with innovative solutions. Participate in a variety of projects that impact and engage colleagues, the company, and our community. Bring a high degree of initiative to complete assigned duties in a timely manner with strong organizational skills. Use effective interpersonal communication skills to serve as a key resource for stakeholders and establish productive internal and external relationships.
Responsibilities
- Administer and ensure compliance of foundation, grant, and sponsorship programs.
- Provide technical expertise in grant management, compliance, and process improvement.
- Identify and resolve problems of varying complexity with innovative solutions.
- Participate in impactful projects engaging colleagues, the company, and the community.
- Serve as a key resource for stakeholders to build and maintain productive relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Four or more years of grant management or related experience.
- Professional certification preferred (e.g., GPC - Grant Professional Certified).
Skills
- Knowledge of IRS requirements and nonprofit compliance.
- Proficiency in database management and financial analysis.
- Strong project management and process improvement skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
Pay
The expected annual base compensation range for this position is $63,000 - $77,000. Compensation offered will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, and experience.
