UIC Arctic Operations & Development is seeking a Project Manager to lead our Arctic exploration projects.
About the role
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution, from planning to completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans and schedules
- Oversee project teams and ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with project scope, quality, and safety standards
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience
- Experience in Arctic environments preferred
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Skills
- Project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Arctic environment knowledge and experience
- Technical proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Microsoft Office, project management tools)

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
