The minimum qualifications for this position include:

• A current license as required by state boards where services will be provided (Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia).
• Experience in at least one of the following areas: completion of a health-system pharmacy administration residency program, completion of a non-health-system pharmacy administration residency program, and 1 year of experience as a clinical pharmacist or pharmacy administrator; or three (3) years of pharmacy administrative experience; or five (5) years of pharmacist practice experience.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing processes to ensure staff competence.
• Formulating and refining systems for drug distribution and clinical services.
• Directing staff activities and monitoring performance.
• Supervising staff and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and performance improvement indicators.
• Maintaining effective communication and working relationships with healthcare professionals.
• Managing day-to-day operations and promoting patient safety.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands of this role include:

• Standing and walking for long periods.
• Lifting up to 30 pounds and pushing up to 50 pounds.
