Community Partnership Specialist (Must live in Ohio)

Develops and fosters new working relationships with community stakeholders and partners in targeted geographical communities, overseeing the partnership development process.

Responsibilities

• Maintains working relationships with existing community stakeholders and partners, providing high-level support to drive overall satisfaction and engagement of key community partners.
• Supports the JobConnect member-facing team by developing an understanding of community dynamics within targeted geographies, helping the team maintain a deeper awareness of regional members.
• Coordinates activities for the JobConnect team to engage with current and potential members, supporting recruitment within targeted communities.
• Provides research and analysis on the unique needs, challenges, strengths, and resources within a community to enable JobConnect to best serve members, and makes strategic recommendations to leadership.
• Keeps leadership informed of community partnership statuses and opportunities for relationship enhancement.
• Understands, gathers, and utilizes data relevant to targeted geographic regions served within the JobConnect program.
• Serves as a primary contact person for JobConnect in targeted geographical communities, as needed.
• Performs other job-related instructions as requested.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Urban Affairs, Social Work, or related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of Community Development experience.
• Previous experience working with Medicaid populations is preferred.
• Employment is conditional pending successful clearance of a driver’s license record check. Unacceptable results may lead to withdrawal of the offer or termination of employment.
• Annual Influenza vaccination is required (October 1 – March 31) as a condition of continued employment. Employees hired during this season have thirty (30) days to comply.

Working Conditions

• Mobile Worker: This is a mobile position requiring regular travel to different work locations.
• Exposure to weather conditions typical of the location.
• May be required to stand and/or sit for long periods of time.
• Perform reasonable travel-related duties as needed to ensure program administration.
• Required to use general office equipment, such as a telephone, photocopier, fax machine, and personal computer.

Pay

$54,500.00 - $87,300.00 annually. Salary is determined by a combination of education, training, experience, scope and complexity of the role, discretion and latitude required, and external/internal data. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
