Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of local organizing strategies, including:
- Meeting with local community partners
- Managing and overseeing key education campaigns
- Identifying new and creative partnership and outreach strategies
- Oversight of community organizing research to identify existing and new business partnerships for growth and expansion
- Develop expertise in our communication & policy goals, policy issues, and key stakeholders.
- Communicate student loan policy basics and how Savi helps borrowers navigate their options to target audiences and stakeholders.
- Lead cross-company collaboration between different teams
Requirements
- 1 year of organizing, electoral, issue or other campaign experience. Recent college graduates welcome.
- Experience with community organizing, preferably in Michigan
- Comfort with self-directed work
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with others
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Able and willing to work in a fast-paced work environment
- An interest in and aptitude for working with new technologies and a social-impact start-up
- An interest in the social impact mission of the company

$45,000-55,000 salary
