About the role

Murrumbidgee Local Health District, Community Mental Health Services are actively recruiting a variety of Allied Health Professional and Nursing roles in Community Mental Health. With a wealth of opportunities across Community Mental Health specialties including, adult, older persons, and child and adolescent teams. We are especially seeking candidates who are experienced in delivering comprehensive mental health care to consumers with a variety of mental health concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the delivery of a comprehensive clinical service through the provision of assessment, case management and individual therapies, including specialised therapies for clients and their families or carers.
  • Provide evidence-based assessment and treatment interventions for clients with major and complex mental health problems, including the development and implementation of specialised treatment programs.
  • Function as an active member of a multi-disciplinary team, including the provision of support and consultation to other team members as required.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in line with the Allied Health Professionals state award, with professional registration or eligibility for Membership with governing bodies, i.e. AASW, AHPRACurrent Driver’s Licence
  • Current NSW Working with Children Registration.
